Cheers for Peers January 2021

Introducing....

Mone Yelverton is an ambassador for safety. She oversees the SWAT team at Aviation Logistics and was a guiding force in reducing worker injuries to almost zero by engaging her coworkers in being safety focused. While she oversees inventory control, she has backfilled leadership roles and gained the recognition of UAL as well. Clearly, Mone has earned the D-Dedicated to Safety and Integrity award!

When a new employee started at Newark, Lighmy Henry was responsible for training them to build flights – she was patient, thorough and always there to help – during training and afterward - by setting an example of hard work and attention to detail. That is why Lighmy is well deserving of the L-Lead By Example award.

Jay Holland has his team’s back – sure, he keeps a tidy and efficient dock, but he also mentors and coaches his coworkers and they look to him with respect and appreciation and know they are the stronger for his skills, attitude, and contributions. That was why they nominated him for a well-deserved R-Results Matter award.

Anyone who works with roll stock knows how unpredictable their job can be.  But Chris McNish has a calm, unruffled approach and he maintains a positive attitude.  No matter the challenges, Chris gets the job done and his positive attitude and willingness to assist prove that Chris knows R-Results Matter!
