Warehousing - Warehouse Supervisor

Position Overview:

Responsible for supervising the daily activities within the facility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to labor scheduling, supervision, and proper utilization of space and equipment.

Schedule: 2:30pm to 11:00 pm



  • Capture data daily; maintain content and format weekly
  • Ensure current and accurate inventory control for customer’s products and inventory
  • Ensure that specific customer Build Lists are picked and staged efficiently, accurately, and within deadline
  • Ensure effective, safe and efficient utilization of the Provisioning Center

Labor Management

  • Oversee job assignments by employee name
  • Direct Provisioning Center personnel to achieve established operational, safety and quality objectives
  • Match skill and background of employee to workload
  • Utilize effective communication and motivational techniques
  • Follow appropriate performance evaluation procedures to recommend promotions, wage increases, disciplinary actions up to and including terminations


  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution, and retention of all necessary reports and records regarding Provisioning Center operations


  • Monitor cleanliness, safety and working condition of all equipment
  • Oversee adjustments and repairs
  • Provide safety instruction to personnel as needed
  • Load, unload, stack, and otherwise move product and materials using a fork truck, clamp truck, or other material handling equipment as needed

Housekeeping and Security

  • Manage programs to ensure tools and equipment are stored in designated areas
  • Store customer’s products safely and correctly to ensure accurate inventories while minimizing any risk of damage
  • Maintain strict pest and rodent control
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate local, state and federal regulations
  • Monitor the maintenance and upkeep of the Provisioning Center
  • Assist Operations Manager – ensuring facility, employees, and customer’s product are secure


Required Skills:


  • High school degree required
  • Associate or college degree desired
  • Prefer business, supply chain, materials, or logistics curriculum


  • Two to three years of relevant experience
  • General office knowledge, including telephone techniques and computer skills, in a customer service environment
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Bi-lingual communication skills preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint
  • Must demonstrate responsible work habits and satisfy pre-employment requirements, including background check and drug screen.
