Wreaths Across America

Brown Trucking Company is proud to continue to be a member of Wreaths Across America’s Honor Fleet. Each year, with the help of hundreds of volunteer trucking companies, Wreaths Across America is able to honor our Nations Fallen Heroes. The trucks that are responsible for carrying thousands of Veteran’s Wreaths to a growing number of participating cemeteries across the United States are called the Honor Fleet. This year we are thrilled to share that  CVO Lenore Riley from our Montgomery, AL participated for a second year in a row, and was joined by CVO Dale Shields from Lithonia, GA.

Dale delivered wreaths to the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, FL for the Barrancas National Cemetery.

Lenore participated in WAA last year for the first time as a new CVO to Brown. She loved the experience and quickly volunteered to help deliver wreaths last week.

Thank you, Ken and Lenore, for your service to Brown and to the Wreaths Across America campaign! Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, their mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,100 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.
