NEWARK, NJ  ·  FULL-TIME  ·  $21.25 PER HOUR

What you’ll be doing

***Must be able to pass a TSA background check. ***

Positions reports to the Provisioning Center Operations Manager or Supervisor.

Support the sortation and quality check of materials being returned from customer’s aircraft. Prompt work attendance with minimal unplanned absences. Ability to follow work instructions and adhere to established SOP/Standard Operating Procedures. Must be able to verify product quality while inspecting, counting and recording returned materials. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, must be comfortable with physical demands while working safely yet efficiently by pushing, pulling, lifting to 50lbs. Stand on your feet for 8 hours or more. In addition, there may be repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, strenuous motions, etc. Heavier items may be transported with Pallet Jacks, Hand Trucks, etc. This also includes being exposed to loud noises and working with or around moving mechanical objects.

PM Shift 1:00 PM-9:30 PM (Weekends Required)

Overnight Shift 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM (Weekends Required)

What the role involves

Overview
 
Inspect and check returned materials
 
Follow established quality SOPs to ensure returned materials are properly categorized for further processing including return to stock, refurbishment, cleaning or disposal
 
Maintain accurate records of all materials processed
 
Perform daily housekeeping tasks to standard
 
Track, record, maintain logs containing basic written report of work performed
 
Ability push, pull, and lift to 50lbs, stand on your feet for 8 hour or more

What we’re looking for

Required
 
High school degree or equivalent work experience
 
One to two years of work experience
 
Effective communication and listening skills
 
Must demonstrate responsible work habits and satisfy pre-employment requirements, including background check and drug screen
Preferred
 
Bilingual communication skills
